Chag Pesach Sameach

Chag Sameach  (KHAHG sah-MEHY-ahkh) Hebrew. This is a greeting for the holidays. Literally meaning, joyous festival, or some say happy holiday. Chag Pesach (PAY-Sach is Hebrew for Passover) Sameach!

The Spring Feasts are approaching! Pesach/Passover & Feast of Unleaven Bread are in April this year. There are many different calendars folks follow these days for the biblical feasts and some will even begin the feasts in March this year. I am pleased many people stopped fighting about the different calendars! I will leave “that” with that!

Leading up to Pesach we are to search our beings, souls (nephesh) and examine ourselves for any sin, hidden or otherwise that we have been participating in. This is a time as the scripture says we can be freed from the house of bondage. We can be freed from sin & bondage. Messiah can free us of these sins and we will be free indeed!

Messiah Yahusha, the Lamb of Elohim died to redeem/buy back human beings from the sin that they were born into. Unless someone is redeemed through Messiah they can not spend eternity with His Father & Messiah himself. The Messiah of Israel Yahusha/Yeshua/Jesus wants us to celebrate Pesach as a reminder that He gave His perfect/sinless life for all of us. He died in our place and took the sin upon himself instead of on us! He did this so we could be his family for eternity. We could not be with him if he did not cleanse us of sin.

First, you must be “born from above”, receive the Messiah of Israel as your master, confess your sin and ask for it all to be forgiven through Messiah. Then, ask Messiah to fill you with The Holy Spirit & Fire and to teach you “The Way” you should live life now. It is time to be willing to forsake all, follow Messiah and trust him to do everything he promises in the scripture. The Holy Spirit (Ruach haKodesh) will be your teacher and your life will NOW REALLY BEGIN. It is amazing beyond description. Now you are on the path back to relationship with the Creator of Heaven and Earth Yahuah/Yahweh ~ who is Messiah’s father. Now learn about the biblical feasts!

This is our rehearsal Chag Pesach Sameach ~ let’s rehearse with our whole being!

Everything on this earth is Yahuah’s and this earthly system is only temporary. Even when circumstances look bleak & scary Yahuah will be there for us. He promises us He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Mathew (6:19-21) “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. “For where your treasure is, there your heart shall be also. “
